Greeks vs. Geeks Winner

Congratulations to Jobey for winning Greeks vs. Geeks!

Thanks goes out to our other bands for performing: Cosby, Chris Warren and the Lady Boners, Paper and Glue, and The Drew Jenkinson Band. Thanks also to Awful Authur’s for sponsoring us, and of course, thanks to everyone who came out to the event! We hope to see you at next semester’s Greeks vs. Geeks!

Fall 2010 Issue Released!

Today we celebrate the release of the latest issue of the Silhouette Literary Magazine! Our first full-color magazine has a graphic novel theme, with plenty of poetry, prose, art pieces and photography to read and view.

Also for the first time, we have an extended piece for viewing online. You can read the entirety of Drew Knapp’s “Birds Fly East” online, either by clicking here or by viewing our archive page.

Pick up the newest issue from any of our Silhouette distributors about the campus, or subscribe to receive issues at your door and support the magazine you love to read. Don’t forget to submit your art pieces, photography, and writings to the Silhouette for next semester’s issue!

Fall 2010 – A New Semester, A New Issue

As Virginia Tech begins its school semester, Silhouette is preparing to release our latest issue! This year, we’ve gone all out with our magazine, and we’re proud to deliver you our first full-color issue. Want to be one of the first to read it? Our release party is taking place September 7th; keep an eye on the site for further details. We’ll have even more events taking place soon, so keep an eye on our events page for more details soon to come.

Curious about joining the Silhouette? Read about us and go to collegemedia.com/join. Or, you can come to one of our bi-weekly meetings on Wednesday at 6pm; our first meeting for the semester is September 1.

Finally, we have a new issue added to the Archives! If you missed it before, now you can read our Spring 2009 Silhouette magazine online at Scribd.
